During the Y2K "crisis" and having owned convenience stores at the time, his customers became worried that the stores would go out of business on January 1, 2000. Mr. Stevens quickly sent out a memo to let his customers know what the company was doing and what the financial impact would be on the stores to get ready for Y2K. Action = nothing... Cost = $0.00 and January 1, 2000 came and went without a problem and the stores remained in business. If you're determined that the world is coming to an end in 2012, you may as well get prepared for it, or better yet profit from it. If it ends, it ends. If it doesn't, you could be very wealthy... or if you simply prepared, you may have a lot of canned goods to eat and bottled water to drink.
