Sinopsis

Tina knew what was coming and turned her head, but I reached out with my hand and gently brought it back toward me. Then, I put both arms around her, drew her tight and kissed her sweetly, firmly and fully on the mouth. We embraced. It was a lingering kiss and when it was over we looked into each other's eyes and drank from an eddying stream of pure tenderness known only to people either in love or teetering on its fringes. Enclosed between the covers of this delightful novel, you will find intrigue, drama and, of course, romance set against the backdrop of Malibu Beach and the breathtaking Southern California coast. A crafted tale with richly diverse characters, Closely Held Secrets reveals with wit, humor and insight the nature of life's contorted relationships.

Biografía del autor

Richard Vanderveld, born in 1926, knew at an early age he wanted to become a writer - a sports writer. After a WWII interruption onboard a ship in the South Pacific, he realized that boyhood dream when he landed a job as sports writer for the Santa Monica Evening Outlook, a position he enjoyed for nine years before going on to explore other fields. His next job, at the Los Angeles Times as a reporter in the financial section, taught him a great deal about stocks and bonds. After a few years, that experience led him to his role as western manager for a New York-based public relations firm representing corporations. He proved good at it and was a specialist in designing communications and executing PR campaigns. On retiring, he still had the urge to write, and decided at long last to try his hand at a Romance novel. Richard, your enduring propensity for romance is no longer a closely held secret, but shared to the degree we allow ourselves to embrace it. Thank you.
