First known for her Fragment series of small fabric collages, Lesley is an internationally known art quilter and mixed-media artist with a passion for photos, color and the written word. She is the author of Inspirational Quotes Illustrated (NL, Fall 2014) and has taught extensively in the US and internationally. Her art and articles have appeared in numerous publications and juried shows. In her former position as Contributing Editor of Cloth Paper Scissors magazine, Lesley showcased new talent in mixed-media art. Her first two books, Quilted Memories and Fabric Memory Books have each sold very well. Two more books, Fabulous Fabric Art with Lutradur and Create with Transfer Artist Paper, introduce versatile new materials to the mixed media art world.

Lesley has filmed instructional DVDs with Creative Catalyst Productions and Quilting Arts. In an ongoing effort to find the best ways for quilters and mixed-media artists to get permanent photos on fabric, Lesley introduced Transfer Artist Paper™―named CHA's 2011 most innovative new product―the state of the art technology for iron-on transfers to fabric.

Currently, Lesley is the host of BlogTalk Radio's Art & Soul show and has a growing specialty as an Artist Success™ expert and coach, providing solutions for artists of all levels. While not teaching, writing about or making art, Lesley enjoys life on a thoroughbred horse farm in Maryland.
