Sinopsis

A bold, evidence-driven look at the pyramids and their purpose

In this exploratory work, a longtime explorer proposes that the Gizeh pyramids were built for more than tombs. The author ties measurements, geometry, and surveying methods to a practical use in ancient Egypt.

The book walks through plans, triangles, and ratios that connect the sizes of the great pyramids. It introduces a new cubit system and shows how scaled models and diagrams can illuminate how the pyramids could have served as tools for land measurement and road planning. It also discusses the possible roles of galleries, chambers, and obelisks in supporting a sophisticated surveying program.
  • Learn how geometric relationships and plan views link the pyramids’ dimensions
  • See the case for a practical measuring system used in ancient construction
  • Explore diagrams, scale models, and hands-on ideas for visualizing the theory
  • Understand why surveying and astronomy might have shaped pyramid design
Ideal for readers curious about ancient engineering, architectural history, and the math behind monumental construction.

Excerpt from The Solution of the Pyramid Problem; Or Pyramid Discoveries: With a New Theory as to Their Ancient Use

With the firm conviction that the Pyramids of Egypt were built and employed, among other purposes, for one special, main, and important purpose of the great est utility and convenience, I find it necessary before I can establish the theory I advance, to endeavor to de termine the proportions and measures of one of the principal groups. I take that of G'i'zeh as being the one affording most data, and as being probably one of the most important groups.
