Sinopsis

WHEN the late worthy John Taylor, of Gower Street, London (originally of Bake-well, Derbyshire) published, first his larger work entitled " The Great Pyramid ; why Avas it built, and who built it ?" in 1859 ; and afterwards, in 1864, his smaller pamphlet which he called " The Battle of the Standards (of Linear Measure) : the ancient of four thousand years, against the modern of the last fifty years-the less perfect of the two,"-he opened up for archaeology a purer, nobler, more important pathway to light than that study had ever enjoyed before.
But Academic Archaeology did not accept it; and meanwhile some portions of the new pathway were so little removed from much of my oavu scientific professional occupations, that I felt it something like a public duty to examine into the foundation of Mr. Taylor's theory as rigidly and extensively as I could, though by home work only, at first; and my publication of 18G4 (i.e., the first edition of the present book) contained the findings so

Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the mysteries of the Great Pyramid of Giza, exploring its unique construction, precise measurements, and intriguing lack of Egyptian adornment. The author argues that this ancient marvel holds secrets beyond the understanding of the Egyptians who built it, pointing to a deeper wisdom and purpose embedded within its very structure. By examining the pyramid's geometry, the author reveals fascinating connections to celestial phenomena and mathematical truths that were not widely known until much later in human history. This leads to the startling suggestion that the Great Pyramid was designed with a prophetic intention, meant to be deciphered by future generations when knowledge and science had sufficiently advanced. The book challenges traditional Egyptology and its interpretations of the pyramid, proposing instead a connection to the ancient Hebrew tradition and its understanding of sacrifice and atonement. This alternative perspective sheds new light on the pyramid's significance, not as a tomb or monument to earthly power, but as a testament to a higher power and its plan for humanity. Ultimately, this book invites us to reconsider the Great Pyramid not simply as an architectural wonder, but as a message across time, offering profound insights into our past, present, and future.
