Biografía del autor

Pat Mingione, using the pseudonym, P. James Rocco, was born in New Castle, PA, a small town about an hour north of Pittsburgh. He graduated from Slippery Rock University with a B.S. in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling. Afterwards, he settled into a successful career as a high school Mathematics teacher at Mohawk High School. Along the way, Pat faced tremendous adversity, having been diagnosed with kidney disease when he was only twenty-four years old. While battling a kidney transplant and medication side effects, he continued with his life as one of the world's longest living transplant recipients the only way he knew how. all in. A year after his transplant, he married Kathy, the love of his life, and later wrote this story as a dedication to her and the circle of friends known to each other as, "The AC 7".
