Biografía del autor

Michael Michalas began writing poetry soon after being diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia in 1995 at the age of 23. He was encouraged to write down his thoughts as a good form of therapy. Michael found that poetry was the best and simplest way to express himself. Despite having no formal education in creative writing, Michael found writing poetry to "come naturally". Michael Michalas' straightforward and rhythmic style is meant to appeal to a broad readership. Even those who "do not like poetry" should appreciate his universal themes, personal touch, and occasional sense of humor. Michael Michalas is an award-winning poet and lives in Southern California.
