Sinopsis

Stickley didn amp rsquo t like making mistakes. amp ldquo Oh no! amp rdquo he amp rsquo d say, and he wouldn amp rsquo t try again. He wanted to be perfect.

Many children-and adults!-don amp rsquo t like making mistakes. But mistakes are a natural and necessary part of growing up. What amp rsquo s more, research shows that how we view mistakes determines whether we embrace challenges or avoid them altogether. Children who are willing to learn from mistakes take more risks in their learning-and are more likely to keep trying when they are challenged-than children who are hesitant to do anything wrong.

Stickley Makes a Mistake! shows kids how to hop up, try again, and say amp ldquo oh well! amp rdquo when they make a mistake-just like Stickley!

Includes a Note to Parents, Caregivers, and Teachers with more information about the importance of having a healthy attitude towards mistakes, and advice for encouraging children to embrace their mistakes, learn from them, and keep trying.
