Praying the Scriptures is a collection of prayers taken directly from the Scriptures since no Word of God shall be void of power. The book includes a wide variety of topics such as: praise, petitions, thanksgiving, intercession, sovereignty of God, anxiety, assurance, loneliness, sickness, hope, joy, marriage, children, patience, death, comfort, guilt, forgiveness, faith, trust, anger, pride, suffering, fear, and salvation/eternal life. Also included is a prayer that covers the entirety of the Old Testament as well as the New Testament.
