Biografía del autor

The writing and art of Richard A. Lawrence have appeared in conservation journals and sporting publications. These include, but are not limited to Trout Magazine, Atlantic Salmon Journal, Roundtable and Trout and Salmon. The stories and artwork for Silver Streams were completed by the author over a twenty-five year period. The art selected for this book are studies for commissioned paintings, illustrations and field sketches which accompanied the artist's journal, conceived or executed as an extension of the creative process in collaboration with a story or poem. Several other completed paintings or drawings or finalized studies for paintings have also been utilized with permission. Richard A. Lawrence continues to seek out magical places to fly fish, write stories and paint. He is currently working on a collection of stories and paintings based on this pursuit.
