Acerca del autor
Stephen O'Keeffe taught craft and design, specialising in jewellery, for more than 20 years. He taught students of all ages and was constantly experimenting with new ways to make his craft accessible to his students. He is also the author of the successful Tips and Shortcuts for Jewellery Making.

Each chapter is packed with unique (and money-saving) ideas such as reusing previously-worked metals and making your own silver solder from offcuts, identifying potential crisis-points in a project and ways to avoid costly mistakes, instructions for adapting and making your own problem-solving tools and jigs from everyday items, and other clever solutions. The cheapest and easiest methods for each technique are explained, and where possible the author covers methods for working on textiles at home, without expensive equipment.
