Psychology is one of the most popular undergraduate majors in the United States today; however, students often remain confused about the different opportunities available to them in their chosen field of study. Not surprisingly, this lack of information can have devastating consequences, which can affect a student s motivation and lead to a general dissatisfaction with the major. Majoring in Psychology: Achieving Your Educational and Career Goals provides students with the essential information required to overcome any hurdles in the pursuit of a psychology degree.
With backgrounds in both academia and licensed psychology practice, the book s co-authors present clear, concise, research-based information on the major subfields in the discipline and the strategies to employ for a successful undergraduate major. Making sure that students are fully prepared for graduate school or the job market after graduation, the authors instill a deeper and more informed perspective on the discipline and its associated opportunities.
Majoring in Psychology: Achieving Your Educational and Career Goals is an invaluable resource for anyone at the outset of a career in psychology.
