Sinopsis

This book examines international migration, security and border-management strategies in Asia, in the face of intensified transnational economic and social processes and the expanding governmental regime. Acerca del autor

AMARJIT KAUR is Professor of Economic History at the University of New England, Australia. She has published widely on labour and economic and social change in Southeast Asia/Asia. IAN METCALFE is Adjunct Professor and Deputy Director of the Asia Centre, University of New England, Australia. He has published widely on geological evolution and the resources of Asia.
