JULIE ARMSTRONG Teaches in the Department of Contemporary Arts, Manchester Metropolitan. JOHN SINGLETON was formerly Head of the well-respected degree in Writing at Manchester Metropolitan University. He is the author of several well-known creative writing books, including The Creative Writing Handbook and The Creative Writing Workbook (both Palgrave).
