They revised and refined the exercise sets based on this analysis.

"The book covers all topics included in the competencies of calculus 1, 2 and 3 in our institution. That was one of the reasons we adopted it. Even more, the topics associated with method of integration by substitution (sections 5.5-5.8) are better covered than any other book with plenty of examples and exercises, and this is crucial for the students to get a good foundation for calculus 2."
