Sinopsis

Excerpt from The African Repository, and Colonial Journal, Vol. 6: August, 1830

If such was the ardor oftbose who had no other interest in this cause, than that excited by Christian duty and a generous philanthropy, what should be the measure of our exertions in its behalf, identified as it is with the strength, the prosperity, and the honour of our Republic?
