Avec cela me croyant un homme du monde accompli, ne m'a peint proposé de Mais, si je le vois, je le lui proposerai. Ce sera un premier acte de courage, signal de bien d'autres. Néanmoins j'irai, car je suis inflexible. Je sens que cela est nécessaire pour acquérir de l'aplomb, non seulement dans le monde, mais encore au barreau. Si pour prendre de l'assurance dans la parole, il fallait me couper deux doigts, je crois que je n'hésiterais guère. Enfin! Vogue la galère, c'est le cas de le dire.
