Theological and medical schools require long periods of time in which to instruct their stu~ dents, and it is admitted that much explanation and time are needed in which adequately to°ac quaint the student with the subject. In line with this admitted necessity for elaboration, I admit my inability to do more than to present, without completeness or desirable amplification, the an swers to the questions submitted by the editor. The limitations imposed in the way Of time and space preclude the possibility Of augmenting the value of my statements by means of more ample explanation.
