Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book is an exploration of the Christian concept of resignation, a virtue that involves submitting to God's will. The author argues that genuine resignation is not merely passive acceptance of events but an active embrace of God's sovereignty and a heartfelt surrender of our own wills. Resignation requires us to renounce the idols of our own hearts, to relinquish the pursuit of worldly pleasures, and to trust in God's providence, even when it leads us through suffering. Through resignation, we find freedom from anxiety, contentment in all circumstances, and a deep and abiding peace that the world cannot give. The author draws on Scripture, personal experience, and the wisdom of Christian tradition to show us how to cultivate the spirit of resignation in our own lives, a spirit that will enable us to face the challenges of life with courage and faith. Resignation is an essential virtue for Christians who seek to live in accordance with God's will and to experience the fullness of his grace.
