As regards typographical appearance and accuracy, the editor thinks he may confidently assert, that the present volume is fully equal to any thing of the kind that has ever issued from the American press. For this accuracy, as well as for other important aids, he is mainly indebted to his friend and colleague, Mr. Drisler, to whom he has so often had occasion to ex press his obligations.
