Sinopsis

A complete, historical guide to the Revelation of St. John that maps its structure and meaning for readers today.

This edition presents a thorough, point‑by‑point exposition of the biblical text. It outlines how Revelation unfolds through three major divisions, with axial visions, companion visions, and a clear timeline from babel to the kingdom of Christ on earth. The author explains the roles of key figures and symbols, tying the promises of the gospel to a broader history of faith and opposition.

Readers will find a detailed framework for understanding the book’s visions, seals, trumpets, and vials, as well as how early churches, centuries of struggle, and later generations fit into the unfolding plan. The guide emphasizes the rise and fall of powers, the triumph of the gospel, and the ultimate establishment of God’s government on earth.

  • Clear breakdown of Revelation into three parts and multiple visions.

  • Plain explanations of major symbols, such as the four beasts and Armageddon.

  • Light on how church history and world events intersect with the biblical narrative.

  • Aimed at readers seeking a structured, accessible path through the text.

Ideal for readers of biblical history, prophecy, and ecclesial study who want a steady, well‑grounded guide to Revelation.

Excerpt from Key to the Revelation of St. John: A Complete Exposition of St. John's Revelation

That kingdom was to be established through the faithful efforts and suffering of the church in preaching the gospel. When the youthful Christian Church first began to spread the gospel, the world was under the dominion of Satan, and his rule is called, in Revelations, Babel, but through the efforts of the Church, there came a time when Babylon ceased to dominate the earth, and the dominion of the gospel, called Armageddon in Revelations, began. This change occurred in 1798 A. D., when the 1260 years of the papacy were ended, when the beast Atheism fell, and the two witnesses - Old and New Testaments - ascended up to Heaven in a cloud, or in other words the Bible, and the truths it contains, became the dominant ruling power on earth. This dominancy of the gospel is to go on in creasing in power, until it crushes and utterly destroys all the rule of man on earth, and only the law of God rules the world; every government now on earth will, therefore, be demolished, and the kingdom of Christ rule the world from the river even unto the ends of the earth.

This history God gave to the Church, before hand, through Revelations. Church history is therefore Revelations divested of its figurative language.
