Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book, a 19th-century theological text, assesses the views of the Anglican church on the subject of Communion. It does so by examining the many opinions that existed at the time and the historical teachings of earlier Christian doctrines. The author takes the position that the church should be more explicit in its teachings about the nature of the Eucharist and its significance within the faith. This treatise is an engrossing look at the ever-evolving nature of faith and the ways in which it is understood.
