Each lesson consists of five parts, as follows First, Sentences illustrating the new Principles; Second, a German Exercise; Third, Vocabulary Of new Words; Fourth, Explanation Of Grammatical Principles; Fifth, an English Exercise.
In the first part a few sentences are given with Eu glish translation, and containing the new grammatical principles Of the lesson ingrafted upon words already known. The attention is thus drawn at the first solely to the new principle.
