He reprefents the Meroeq/m, to which Mr. Canning, whilfl; a boy at Eton, contributed, as the work of his riper years, for the purpofe of depreciating his abilities. Some circuml'tance, however, has alarmed or fhamed the little man, for he has fuddenly changed his fatirical note into a pane gyric, and thinks the former is forgot.
