Excerpt from The Science of Management
The author feels that best results can be obtained from a course of lectures when the student has the advantage of a printed text to which he can refer as occasion requires. This book has been prepared to give such an advantage to the students of Case School of Applied Science, 1917-18, who are attending the course upon "The Science of Management." It contains the necessary chapters from the various books on the allied integral parts of the subject and with "Applied Methods of Scientific Management," required for the course, completes the text for the entire thirty lectures.
