The chief event with which the Board has had to deal was the selection of a site for the new Reference Library and it is with pleasure I take this opportunity of congratulating the Board on the termination of the negotiations for the purchase of same.
The position chosen at the corner of St. George and College streets is admirably calculated to meet the requirements of the largest number of our readers and students. The cost of the lot is $75.ooo. And considering all the advantages the price is very reasonable.
