Excerpt from The Gospel According to Peter, and the Revelation of Peter: Two Lectures on the Newly Recovered Fragments Together With the Greek Texts
The Lecture on the 'Gospel according to Peter' was given in the Hall of Christ's College on the 20th of November, three days after the text was first seen in Cambridge, in response to a general desire for information as to the new discovery. It has since been corrected and enlarged by the addition of some notes, which are placed at the foot of the page, with a view to guiding students to various sources of information which may yet throw further light upon the interpretation of the fragment.
