Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book expounds on the need for obedience in religious and civil society, drawing heavily on examples from the Bible. The author argues that a proper understanding of the fear of the Lord should lead to a corresponding fear and respect of earthly authority. Likewise, that fear should compel us to defend authority and avoid corrupting influences that aim to change governance structures. Indeed, the author sees such influences at work in the religious and secular affairs of his day, a tumultuous era of religious upheaval. The book argues that to be complicit in such movements is to be complicit in the destruction of order and authority itself. It cautions readers against lending any support to those who seek to reshape the established order, no matter how well-meaning or persuasive their arguments may seem. To stand against such movements is not only a religious duty but a defense of peace, order, and prosperity. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item. Nº de ref. del artículo: 9781331412199_0
