Sinopsis

Excerpt from Warren G. Harding the Man

When a friend appeared and offered to stand sponsor for a book, I could not resist. There was a fire in my bones that impelled me to write when Warren G. Harding was nominated for President of the United States. While not intended as a political book, there is an earnest intent that the reader may feel that this tribute is tempered with the restraint due to dealing with future events, and that it is not inspired by partisan bias.

All America loves a man - no matter under what party banner he may enlist.

Excerpt from Warren G. Harding the Man

On the scroll of Time is burned the memory - even the history of those whose lives are dedicated to the cause of humanity. And it is well. Little do we remember, little do most of us care, less do most of us think of the inner motives that mould the bigger motives that make us free or happy. Perhaps it is a law of Nature to forget. Human relations, even nations, start with the family. Who ever heard of a family that individually or collectively took the pains to consider the tiny, indiscernible, extrinsic elements that make for the most expedient and beneficent management and government of that little group.

It is the same way with nations.

Men come and men go.
