But it may be useful to refer to the general outline adopted which is one not only Of very liberal dimensions, but which includes, in addition to the usual range Of considerations forming part of a dissertation of this description, the treatment Of a whole group of subjects bearing a subsidiary relation to the main Objects of criticism.
