The total weight of a broadside from all her guns was pounds. She was one of the finest vessels in the English Navy and was commanded by Captain Francis Reynolds, who afterwards became the Earl of Ducie. She was one of the fleet under Admiral Richard Howe, who was a brother of Sir William Howe, who commanded the British soldiers then fighting the Continental Army.
