Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book is a meticulous study of human nature both before and after the fall from a state of original perfection and happiness into one of depravity and misery. The author first delves into the concept of man's original righteousness, when he was created in the image of God, wholly harmonious in body and soul, capable of choosing to follow or oppose God's will. The author then chronicles the dramatic fall from grace that resulted in man's present state, exploring the subsequent deterioration of all parts of man's nature, intellectual, volitional, and affectionate. The author additionally analyzes the consequences of this dramatic transformation, including the loss of man's original blessedness, the introduction of sin and death into the world, and the resulting alienation from God. In its insightful conclusion, this book unravels the depths of human depravity to illuminate the transformative power of God's grace, illuminating the significance of God's plan to redeem humanity from its fallen state.
