Mr. Cantor offered the following:
Resolved (if the Assembly concur), That a joint committee, consisting of three Senators and live Members of Assembly, be appointed by the respective presiding officers of the two Houses, for the purpose of presenting resolutions in memory of the deceased statesman, James G. Blaine.
The President put the question whether the Senate would agree to said resolution, and it was decided in the affirmative.
Out of respect to the memory of James G. Blaine, Senator Cantor moved that the Senate adjourn until Monday evening at 8.30.

Whereupon the Senate adjourned.
The Assembly returned the concurrent resolution relative to the appointment of a joint committee to draft resolutions in memory of James G. Blaine, with a message that they have concurred in the passage of the same.
