If it be asked why he did not assert his right on the appearance of the claim made for Robins by Dr. Wilson, it may be answered that quite possibly be was never aware of the publication of the 'mathematical Tracts.' Robins never put forth such a claim; and when it became known to Mrs. Walter, after her husband's death, she at once stated that the work was the production of the latter.
