Paperback. Condición: New. Print on Demand. This book delves into the philosophical significance of one of Plato's most challenging dialogues. The author examines the dialogue's place within the broader context of ancient Greek thought, particularly exploring the impact of earlier philosophers like Herakleitos, Parmenides, and Anaxagoras on Plato's own philosophical development. The book explores how Plato grapples with the fundamental concepts of Being and Becoming, Unity and Multiplicity, and the nature of knowledge. Through a detailed analysis of the dialogue's structure and language, the author reveals how Plato skillfully reconciles seemingly contradictory ideas, ultimately presenting a unified system of thought that elevates the soul and its connection to the universe. The book's insights offer a valuable lens through which to understand the core principles of Platonic philosophy.
