In a little more than two years the First Edition of the Manual of Dental Mechanics was exhausted. Sufficient evidence was thus afforded that such a book was needed, and it is not unwarrantable to suppose that the want in some measure was met by the earlier edition of this work. It has been translated into French, and has met with a favorable reception in the United States.
