It has proved itself both a standard authority with Mechanical Engineers and Draughtsmen, and a valued textbook with Colleges and Technical Schools. Its market has not been confined to the United States, but it has found ready sale in Great Britain. In the present Edition the Author has carefully eliminated all abstruse formulæ, because he considers it absurd to invoke the aid of higher mathematics for the solution of everyday problems in Link and Valve Motion.
