Pueelle Genoise is a fine large and double rose, apparently a hybrid of the China Rose, as its foliage approaches it in resemblance. Among the novelties in Bourbon roses, one of the most remarkable is Madame Lacharme, a rose raised at Lyons, and named after the wife of a rose cultivator there; this may with justice be called White Madame Desprez; it produces its beautiful white flowers, the outer petals of which are slightly tinged with blush, in large clusters; it is of robust habit, and will undoubtedly be a most popular variety.
