(Man, Bible student, student of boy life, good mixer, etc.) (b) Membership in Class. 1. Boys of the same development. 2. Gang Groups. (Boys should not be separated when they are members of the same gang.) (c) Government of the Class. 1. Boy Officers. (President, VicePresident, Secretary and Treasurer.) 2. Committees. (Social, Missionary, Membership, Athletic, etc. Keep all the boys busy at something.) (d) Lessons. 1. Graded Courses. 2. Boys should be advanced each year as a class, the teacher included. No separate graduations unless the boys do not fit their crowd. II. Boys' Department in the Sunday-School: 1. Where possible this department should meet separately with its own officers, and an adult leader and teachers. 2. Ages of boys twelve to eighteen. Two sections twelve to fifteen and fifteen to eighteen. III. Work Outside the Sunday-School Class Hour. Boys' Clubs: 1. Use the Organization that is now in the church. 2. Organize a Boys' Club if there is none. IV. Organization of Boys' Club: 1. Leader. (a) A Christian man, not merely good, but good for something. (5) Ability to command respect of boys and still be a boy with them. (c) Must have executive ability for leader ship. (This means the leader does not have to do all the work, but see how he can use the talents of the people of his town.) (d) Must have an aim. (We might call it his game.) Tell the boys your game with them when you start. Tell them that you want them to be Christians. Put the program of Christ up to them. ( e) Willing to give of time and self.
