Richard Beamish
Richard Beamish has a PhD in Zoology from theUniversity of Toronto and has worked for and with numerous research organizations. He is the recipient of the Prix d' Excellence, the Queen's Golden and Diamond Jubilee Medals, the Order of Canada and the Order of British Columbia. He was also a member of the International Panel on Climate Change that received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2007. He lives on Vancouver Island.
