Chaldean Magic its Origin and Development is a comprehensive and scholarly exploration of the history, practices, and beliefs of the ancient Chaldean culture. Written by French historian and archaeologist Francois Lenormant, the book delves into the mystical and religious traditions of the Chaldeans, who lived in Mesopotamia (modern-day Iraq) from around the 10th century BCE to the 6th century BCE.
