What happens when a little girl, named Marla, who has a rather particular artistic flair, finds a magic ink bottle? It might be said that her "Ink-Credible" misadventure is just beginning!
I'm sure we all know a child who is quite artistic and Marla certainly has her unique talents. Marla and the magic ink bottle is the tale of an artistic little girl who soon learns that being different and creative can get you thru even the toughest of situations. Once inside she soon decides to take the tour into her own hands, which leads her down the spooky spiral staircase and straight to a magic ink bottle. When Marla arrives home with the ink bottle, she creates her pictures using the magical ink and that's when her first misadventure begins. In this First story of the magical misadventures of Marla, she will join forces and start a new friendship with Sheriff Barkley who helps to defeat the troublesome foes that were created from the potent magical ink. Along the way thru her unique misadventure quite a few important life lessons are learned.
Join Marla and Sheriff Barkley on the first of three epic adventures as Marla learns a valuable lesson about right and wrong, utilizes her artistic talents to save the town, and the importance of always being true to yourself!

Paul Martini was born and raised in sunny South Florida. He studied creative writing, film and television production and went on to start his own company in advertising. He used his writing and creativity to achieve success in many national advertising campaigns. He began writing his debut children's series about a rather particular artistic girl named Marla in 2019. The stories of her misadventures became quite an obsession and since the completion of Marla and the magic ink bottle he has written 2 more novels completing her trilogy. Paul is currently working on 3 more children's books, and a 3-part Science fiction novel for teens entitled the Triangle Chronicles, which will soon be in publication. Paul currently resides in Ft. Lauderdale, and on any given day you may find him surrounded by his three dogs, sipping a fresh cup of coffee and happily typing out his next big adventure for an upcoming literary character. They say dress for the job you want. That is probably why you'll find Bianke covered in paint and ink with paintbrushes in her hair most of the time. Other times, she dresses up nicely and you can barely see the paint stains on her dress.
Bianke immigrated to the US from her childhood home in South Africa where she completed her degree in Fashion Design. She has a passion for art in all forms, but is drawn to illustration - particularly watercolour - to bring crazy ideas beautifully to life. The Marla Trilogy is her first children's book to be completed.
While working on other projects, she is also a mom to a very creative and wonderfully magical daughter. She cuts her sandwiches in very particular shapes, laughs at silly jokes and sometimes - well, always - makes wishes on shooting stars.
