grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. He is a well versed Poet and a single father of 7 beautiful children. At the tender age of 4 he was featured in a Kansas City Publication where he published his first original poem. J's poems are drawn from his struggles and profound experiences while growing up in Kansas City.J attended Missouri Western University and Carver Bible College. While in college he performed all over Missouri and was featured as a poet at various open mic events, poetry slams and college talent shows. J is also a mentor who believes in supporting the youth and providing outreach to his local community. He was featured in "Who's Who " publication of 2022 for his community outreach.J has aspirations to start the first black owned self publishing company entitled "Blessings That Prosper Publishing" (BTPP). Blessings That Prosper Publishing will provide opportunities for inspiring authors,artist,voice actors,editors,writers, illustrators and more at an affordable price.Additionally, J intends to publish ebooks via BTTP which will be distributed on all streaming platforms via empire records. Merging hip hop and poetry communities in an effort to bring together various art forms. J is a God fearing man who has traveled a hard road. God has instilled in him a passion to help make that road smoother for others.
