This is a story of a young sheep who finds out what brings true happiness through a series of silly challenges and one very frightening event.

To Wilford the other side of the fence looked so much better, but is it really? Dreaming of better pastures is always the favourite past time for sheep and in this story we find out about a very curious sheep that endeavours to get to the other side. Of course he loves grass and ponders... is this grass as good as he thinks it is?

A lovely tale of friendship and kindness in dangerous times and in an even more treacherous pasture.

Acerca del autor

Shawn Allen works most of the day as a physiotherapist, while in his off time he writes and illustrates children's and young reader's books. He lives in the Victoria B.C. with his wife and daughter, he also has grown up son, who now lives in Vancouver. Shawn has been writing and illustrating most of his life but somehow being an author and illustrator has recently become somewhat of an obsession. Maybe it was the many fond evenings that were spent reading stories with his children. Maybe it was the reminiscing of his childhood stories that led him to ponder if creating of his own story was in fact better than the retelling of another author tales. Maybe someday he might let you know if this is truly the case.
