Not a foodie or gourmet enthusiast, he discovered cheesecake through old cookbooks, family encouragement, and years of trial, error, and shared enjoyment. A father, grandfather, and now great-grandfather, Alan brings the same free-spirited approach to baking that he brings to life - less measuring, more instinct, and plenty of humour.
