An Artificial Viscosity Method for the Design of Supercritical Airfoils

Buch. Condición: Neu. Neuware - This technical report details an artificial viscosity method for designing supercritical airfoils. The method provides a way to compute shock-free airfoils, addressing a key challenge in high-speed aerodynamics. The report presents the mathematical formulation and numerical implementation of the artificial viscosity technique, highlighting its application to airfoil design. This study offers insights into computational fluid dynamics and airfoil optimization, making it a valuable resource for engineers and researchers in aerospace and related fields. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
