Sinopsis

Known as one of the most remarkable women of the German Reformation, Argula von Grumbach was a fearless defender of the faith and a tireless advocate for women's rights. In this groundbreaking biography, Rieder offers a vivid and engaging portrait of this remarkable figure, exploring her life and legacy in the context of the turbulent religious and political climate of 16th-century Germany. Drawing on a wealth of primary source material, including diaries, letters, and contemporary accounts, this volume is an essential resource for anyone interested in the history of the Reformation, early modern Europe, or feminist theology.
