This innovative introduction to the foundations of signals, systems, and transforms emphasises discrete-time concepts, smoothing the transition towards more advanced study in Digital Signal Processing (DSP). Acerca del autor
P. P. Vaidyanathan is the Kiyo and Eiko Tomiyasu Professor of Electrical Engineering at the California Institute of Technology. A Life Fellow of IEEE, he has been awarded the IEEE Gustav Robert Kirchhoff Award, the IEEE Signal Processing Society's Shannon-Nyquist Technical Achievement Award, the IEEE Signal Processing Society's Carl Friedrich Gauss Education Award, the Norbert Wiener Society Award, and the EURASIP Athanasios Papoulis Award. He is a Foreign Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering and a member of the U.S. National Academy of Engineering.
