We've enjoyed helping build a vibrant new market for artificial grass in the landscape industry in Northern California; since 1998 with our company TuFFgrass. From the Silicon Valley we migrated to the Sierra Foothills in the 1990s and began our construction company in a new emerging market of artificial grass for residential markets. The market was young and so were we back then! Our passion to deliver top of the line solutions ran deep and we've are proud of the contribution we've added to building a solid opportunity for millions of people to enjoy these great products.Our background in product development and education drew manufacturers and distributors in the industry to ask us to deliver market education, develop products and installation guidelines. We built a rich set of tools and shared them with all. Along with a handful of pioneers, our efforts early in the business development of this market has created many jobs and helped small businesses thrive; we have been humbled by how many liveswe've touched with our own passion for turf.As seen on TV! Yes, that was us you see on DIY Network's TurfWars and Yard Crashers. We were the turf installer on the show for several years along with our appearances helping to promote SAY Golf (now 1st Tee) to our regional youth at local events. We helped shepherd new legislation into California law voiding the bans HOAs had on using artificial grass in property designs governed by home owner association building guidelines.
