Sinopsis

It seemed like an easy enough job, which is why former cop and marginal private detective, Lyman Henry, agreed to take it: find the person who killed the son of respected Phoenix businessman, Williams Smoot, the man with two last names. There was only one trifling problem. The confessed murderer was already in jail. But Henry figured he’d simply work around that niggling quandary. Business wasn’t exactly booming and he needed the $10,000 that Williams Smoot agreed to pay him for a few days’ work.Besides, hunger never saw bad bread. It didn’t take long, however, for Henry to realize that things were not entirely, or even slightly, what they appeared to be at first glance. His investigation into Freddie Smoot’s murderrapidly deteriorates into a quagmire of treachery, deceit, and abominable criminality. A detective thriller brimming with arresting characters and startling plot twists, readers will not easily put aside the extraordinary ‘The Man With Two Last Names.’
